Reverend Cleotis Woods is a native of Meridian, MS.  He received his call to the ministry in April of 1985. He graduated from Meridian Jr. College with an Associate of Arts Degree in Retail Marketing.  He further matriculated at Jackson State University receiving a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management.  He has attended the following Schools of Theology: Baptist Seminary of Jackson, MS, New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, Reformed Theological Seminary, New Foundation Theological Seminary, National Baptist Congress of Christian Education.  He completed his Doctor of Theology Degree at the New Foundation Theological Seminary. The Rev. Dr. Cleotis Woods is married to Petril Woods. He is presently the pastor of the Travelers Rest M.B. Church of Kosciusko, MS where he has pastored twenty-seven years. The most important event in his life was the day he received Jesus Christ as his Lord and Saviour.
